"We have a holistic approach to dance education and personal development, taking care of body and mind. We take interest in every student, every learner, their story and the potential they carry. We want to bring to light what is the best and the most beautiful in people, not only as far as their physical and emotional abilities are concerned, but also their mental strength" - Nathalie Sonnenschine
Neoclassica Ballet Centre, founded in 2014 on the initiative of Nathalie Sonnenschine got its name from dance style created by George Balanchine: neoclassical.
In the ballet world, the “neoclassical” concept meant the arrival of new era, the era of dancers who were more aware, more creative and liberated from the stiff frames of academic classical ballet. Neoclassica Ballet Centre follows this trend by opting for body and mind awareness, as well as the creativity of every learner and student. Our Center is, first and foremost, a place of conscious growth for people for whom dance is their passion, their love, their way of life, the idea for their career path or, simply, leisure and stepping out of everyday life. In Neoclassica, personal growth is supported and directed with respect for human being, their values and priorities.
We believe that: ‘no one is too young to inspire and too old to learn something new’. That is why, in our Centre, different generations join together in class, creating something that many people would call ‘a tribe’ and we call it ‘a family’.
In Neoclassica we take care also about theoretical education and that is why we founded balet library and we have such a subjects as: dance history or musi theory. We also put special attention on education our students about empathy and helping others by organizing various and numerous charity actions.
